Ist International Singing Competition
awarded by the City of Saluzzo and dedicated to Magda Olivero
September 15-16-17, 2010


The jury will award the following prizes:

  • Participation as leading protagonists(one of only 4 roles) in the world premiere of the opera "Decameron" in Philadelphia (USA) on November 12-13-14, 2010.
  • Participation as soloist to various events/concerts in Philadelphia (USA) in October-November, 2010. Exact dates will be announced at a later time.
  • Possible special critics awards.

The Finalists of the Competition will be recommended to Superintendents and Artistic Directors of the Italian Lyrical and Symphonic Institutions.

The winners must be in Philadelphia no later than October 18, 2010. During their stay in Philadelphia housing and meals will be provided. The winners will be reimbursed in Philadelphia for their travel expenses up to $800 (eight hundred dollars).
